Community Coordinators maintain a safe and inclusive hall environment, through their support of students' intellectual, social, and emotional growth. Community Coordinators do this by staffing offices to ensure student safety and security, providing counseling on things such as homesickness to loss, and facilitating a variety of activities to foster a sense of community.

My name is Axel Battista (he/him/his) and I am the Community Coordinator for 2nd Beall.
I earned my BA in Secondary Education and English from UNC Greensboro in 2021, and my MA in English at UNC Greensboro in 2024.
Some fun facts about me:
I have 8 years experience in public education.
I am a published author 3 times over! I love to edit student papers, poetry, books, and other academic writing.
Some of my favorite musical artists are the Gorillaz, Joji, BTS, Noah Kahan, Fall Out Boy, and Durry.
In my free time, I usually am playing video games! Some of my favorites are Stardew Valley, Inscryption, Kingdom Hearts, Terraria, Skyrim, and Dave the Diver.
With me comes my cat, Dorian Grei, who is lovingly nicknamed 'Mamas.'

Hello, my name is Calli Johnson, and my pronouns are she/her. I was born in Marianna, Florida, but I currently live in Havelock, North Carolina. When I’m not being a room dweller, you can probably find me at the school gym.
In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing video games, and chatting with my friends. After college, I hope to pursue a career in financial advising.

Hey everybody! I’m Esu and I live in Mebane. I have also lived in Colorado, Mongolia, and Chapel Hill NC. I use she/her and they/them pronouns.
I am really interested in computer science and engineering! My passion is Visual Arts. And some things that I love to do is fence, watch movies, and visit museums! I’m very kind and caring, so always reach out about anything!
