RLA ANNOUNCEMENTS
None!
SECRET FRIENDS
Please fill out THIS FORM before you leave for break (AKA Friday!)
Our Secret Friend exchange will occur during Hall Meeting on January 13th!
We will assign you a Secret Friend before you leave for Winter Break!
Participating in this event is entirely optional, but we ask that everyone submits the form so we know likes and dislikes!
Please feel free to share as much or as little as you like - the more you share, the more your Secret Friend has to work with!
SIGNING CHECK
Just a reminder!! Check is at 10pm Sunday thru Thursday and 11pm Friday and Saturday.
You should be ON HALL at 10pm/11pm, 10:04pm/11:04pm at the absolute very latest.
You should not be asking another student or your RLAs to sign check for you.
If you're trying to sign check at 10:05/11:05, you should walk down with your RLA because after 10:05/11:05, you are late for check.
WEDNESDAY LOOPS:
We have another loop this Wednesday! This loop will be driven by JAshe.
It will run from 5:30-7:30pm between Bryan Lobby and Harris Teeter. Do your best to catch your ride back as soon as you are done - if everyone waits until the last loop, we won't have room and will need to require sign-ups.
If you miss the final van back to campus, you'll need to get your own transportation back, so plan ahead to avoid that uber ride!
UNPLUG DEVICES FOR BREAK
For Thanksgiving break, we ask that students unplug all items in the room. This includes fridges and fish tanks. Students should defrost their fridges completely and clean out excess water before they leave for the break. They should also make sure that they take any houseplants or fish home.
If you physically cannot unplug something because it is behing your bed or other furniture, that's okay - please show me tonight during Room Inspections and we can talk about it!
The most important thing would be defrosting and removing all food items from fridges.
EXTENDED REMINDERS
Residence halls will be closing for Extended at 5:00pm on Friday, 11/22 and reopen at noon on Sunday, 12/1. Students whose rides will arrive later than 5:00pm on Friday are asked to wait with their belongings in Bryan Lobby.
By noon this Wednesday 11/20, all students will submit an Overnight Orah pass for their extended weekend travel plans.
You should indicate where you are going for the break, who you are traveling with, and how you are getting to your destination. If you have specific questions about checkout procedures for extended weekends, you should speak to me or a CC on duty.
Any students going somewhere other than home and leaving with an individual other than a legal guardian will need to check out with a CC at Bryan desk before leaving campus, in addition to filling out their Orah pass.

Residence halls will be closing for Extended at 5:00pm on Friday, 11/1 and reopen at noon on Monday, 11/4 Students whose rides will arrive later than 5:00pm on Friday are asked to wait with their belongings in Bryan Lobby.
We're scrapping the extended weekend Google form. Instead, by noon this Wednesday 10/30, all students will submit an Overnight pass for their extended weekend travel plans.
You should indicate where you are going for the break, who you are traveling with, and how you are getting to your destination. If you have specific questions about checkout procedures for extended weekends, you should speak to me or a CC on duty.
Everyone doing an Orah pass, instead of some students having to do the Google form and an Orah pass, should cut down on the confusion about whether or not you need to submit an Orah pass for your specific travel plans. This will also give us a better sense of which families still need assistance getting connected to their students' accounts in Orah.
Any students going somewhere other than home and leaving with an individual other than a legal guardian will need to check out with a CC at Bryan desk before leaving campus, in addition to filling out their Orah pass.
Any students returning after 10:00pm curfew on Monday, 11/4 will also need to check out at Bryan desk.
Please remember to include the method of travel you're using in your Orah Pass! I.e. bus, train, car, etc.
TL;DR:
PLEASE SUBMIT AN ORAH PASS BY WEDNESDAY.

OFF CAMPUS REMINDERS
As the time of sunset gets earlier, please remember students may not walk off campus after sunset and must return to campus before sunset, if walking. You may return after sunset if you're traveling by vehicle. This rule is in place for student safety as it is harder to be aware of your surroundings in unlit areas. You can check each day's sunset time on the TWAN website, at THIS calendar, or with NCSSM Time!

If have have specific questions about checkout procedures for extended weekends, you should speak to me.

This will also give us a better sense of which families still need assistance getting connected to their students' accounts in Orah.

DO, DON'T AND DONUTS WITH JENNIFER ASHE
Come to the blue lounge in the PFM at 4 pm on Tuesday to learn about Title IX and enjoy some doughnuts!
HUNT KITCHEN: REMINDERS + EXTENDED
Do not use metal utensils in the nonstick pots and pans -- the metal will scrape off the nonstick coating leading to rust and ingestion of said coating. We throw away nonstick pots and pans when we see this damage on them. We have lost half of a brand-new dish set that was donated to the kitchen in August due to this.
Like we tell you to do for any hall trash cans, if the Hunt kitchen trash can is overflowing, don't add more trash on top! You should pull the full bag out, tie it off, and put in one of the new bags that are in the bin. You can set the full bag to the side for housekeeping to pick it up, or you can go the extra mile (or 765 ft.) and take the bag to the dumpster yourself.
The kitchen will close for fall break at noon this Friday.
PERSONAL DESK CHAIR
How many of you are using your own personal desk chair that you brought to campus? We're looking at changing how we issue desk chairs next year since so many students bring their own and then have an extra chair or two in their room.
VARIOUS REMINDERS
If you're signing Early Check, you need to be doing so AT LEAST 30 minutes prior to Check. This also applies to Friday and Saturday Night sleepovers/overnight guests. If you are signing Early Check, this is NOT to go to your room or the lounge so you can study or hang out undisturbed - not saying anyone on hall does this, just a general reminder from Student Life!
If you have trash housekeeping this week, PLEASE do not forget to take it out on Thursday BEFORE CHECK!
From higher administration: Please take our your own trash, that comes from your own room, take it to the dumpsters outside the PEC. PLEASE, PLEASE do not place your personal trash bags in the lounge, the bathroom, byran lobby, the 2nd Bryan public trashcans, etc. Your personal trash should be tied up and thrown away in the dumpsters.
AFTER THURSDAY AT CHECK, PLEASE refrain from throwing anything away in the lounge or bathroom trashcans, including food but things like paper towels and other paper products. If there are items left after Friday, it will sit there for over a week and we do not want that!
PROGRAMMING THIS WEEK:
CC Chat - TONIGHT AFTER HM + RI, rescheduled! Was originally on Wednesday! If you have questions about anything, want to study with me, have concerns about your college applications, I'll be in the lounge!
9/16
Here are the summarized notes from tonight's Hall Meeting.
RLA Announcements
Bathroom + Sanitary Items
When doing Housekeeping, please make sure that you're replacing items that you use, especially in the bathroom! Additionally, please be sure that you are following the guidelines for what it allowed to stay in the bathroom for extended periods of time.
Make sure you're checking on Sundays to see if you're "on" housekeeping that week.
If you're on trash and you're available especially on Sundays, please make sure that you're taking it out before check!
ROOMMATE AGREEMENTS
Thank you for submitting your Roommate Agreements - I have them all!
Remember that these documents can be reflected on, changed and/or adjusted throughout the year. While you should hold each other to the statements and decisions that you talked about, you can totally make adjustments as you need to as we progress through the year.
GUESTS ON HALL
This is another reminder that we need to accompany guests at all times while on hall, and announce them when we enter hall! "Guests" also include students from another hall!
We should not be giving our keys/fobs to anyone that does not live on 2nd Beall - this is a safety concern as even if they are your friend, other residents may not know them and could consider them a stranger.
AIR FRYER MICROWAVE COMBO
I was mistaken! My apologies! You MAY use the Air Fryer function on the Microwave, but what I ask is that you do not LEAVE the Lounge when the air fry function going!
We will have an info graphic that explains best air fryer practices soon!
PHOTOS
If you've taken photos that you'd like to have on the memories wall, please send them to me! You can text, email or Google Chat them to me, and I'll print them out!
SILENT DISCO
Just a reminder about the SAB Silent Disco this Saturday, September 21st from 830pm-1030pm!
IVIS DATA
Please put your heads down/cover your eyes - I'm going to ask you a couple questions about an IVIS, and your leadership team would like to get some anonymous data!

ROOMMATE AGREEMENTS
Huge thank you to the 8 rooms that have completed their Roommate Agreements!
I am missing 7 room's Roommate Agreements! After Hall Meeting tonight is a great opportunity to get those completed...!
Remember that these are due next Monday, September 16th!
PACKAGE DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
Please use 1219 Broad St as the address for any package deliveries, you should not include any additional instructions.
If ordering from Doordash or another same-day delivery service, remember:
1219 Broad will bring them to Blobby, which is where they should go! Please try to limit orders delivered to Watts Porch, Watts Circle, Hunt Gravel Lot, Reynolds Circle, etc.
Any same-day orders, especially Doordash or UberEast, should be ordered AT LEAST 30 minutes before check!
HAMMOCK SAFETY
You should not be laying side by side with another person in a hammock, whether it is your own or one of the school hammocks outside Royall; you should sit up side by side in a hammock if you are sharing your hammock.
For personal hammocks: do not double or triple 'stack' hammocks, as it is unsafe in terms of how high this puts some hammocks/people and if any of the hammocks become undone.
They should not be tied to lamp posts or other building structures. Do not hang your hammocks on the perimeter of campus or the lawns.
If you are laying down in a hammock by yourself, you may not notice a safety or security concern so we want people to hang out closer to well-lit areas.
Please take care of items that are not yours! Some hammocks have already been damaged and it has been less than 2 weeks - if you're using a hammock, please be safe and easy in and on them!
EARLY AM OR PM TRANSPORTATION
Due to the volume of potential requests and our staffing ability, we cannot provide transports prior to 7:30 AM or after 9:30 PM.
SAB SILENT DISCO SONG REQUESTS
SAB will be holding a silent disco on 9/21 at 8:30PM in the gym! A Silent Disco is a dance where instead of music coming over loudspeakers, it comes through headphones! We provide the headphones and three channels of music for you to choose from - but we need your song requests! Put them in here!
JUNIOR SENATOR ELECTIONS
Nominations for Junior Senators are now open! Nominations close on Sept 13th at 5pm. If you are interested in running for Junior Senator, please review the email from SG Elections to ensure you meet the necessary requirements!
SENIOR SUNRISE
Seniors, join student government on Friday morning to enjoy a sunrise together! We will start at 6:30am on the Soccer Field. Bring your blankets and cameras!
SAFETY REMINDERS
Just a reminder to travel around Durham with at least one other person, I strongly encourage bigger groups, if possible.
If something happens that makes you uncomfortable, please report it at the Bryan desk when you return to campus, if you need help while you are out and about, call the Bryan desk as soon as possible. If you need to leave a situation, try to go into a store or restuarant and call us from there. Keep your eyes up and off your phone as you walk around and/or take the bus - situational awareness is important.

8/25
Here are the summarized notes from tonight's Hall Meeting.
RLA Announcements
Lost and Found
Campus Safety will be clearing out and donating all items in the lost and found this Friday, August 30. If you have lost any items, please stop by Campus Safety to claim them by this Thursday night.
Deliveries/Visitors
Please do not open the doors to deliveries/visitors to campus, direct them to go to the Bryan Lobby entrance if they are lost. If you notice a visitor on campus and you think campus safety needs to help them, call 919-416-2911, you can also call the Bryan desk at 919-416-2825. We appreciate the kindness to hold the door, but we do not want strangers wandering campus.
Visitor hours are the following, directly from page 38 of the Student Handbook:
Monday - Thursday : 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Friday : 8:00 AM - 10:55 PM
Saturday : 9:00 AM - 10:55 PM
Sunday : 9:00 AM - 9:55 PM
PLEASE ANNOUNCE WHEN YOU BRING A NON-2ND-BEALL-RESIDENT ON HALL. THIS ALWAYS INCLUDES RESIDENTS FROM ANOTHER HALL, ALL FAMILY MEMBERS, FRIENDS FROM ANOTHER SCHOOL, ETC.
The above Visitor hours also apply to all Visitors listed above.
Orah Procedures
As a reminder, if you are missing curfew or traveling 30+ miles, you should request the appropriate pass on Orah 24 hours prior to your anticipated departure time. Please make sure that you are listing the individual picking you up in the ""Host"" field. If someone other than a legal guardian is picking you up, you will need to manually add them as a ""one off contact"". You would also need to list them as a ""Host"" even if you are heading home to be with your family. For example, if you are going home for two weekday nights but a neighbor is picking you up, then the Host would be your neighbor, not your parents.
If you are taking the train or bus and need a transport to the station, be sure to talk to the CC on duty about when the transport is leaving that day and you would list yourself as the Host. You’d also list yourself as the Host if you were taking a taxi/rideshare.
For destination, you can put in the street address of where you are going or you can put the name of the location. You should be as specific as possible. If you are spending the night with a friend at UNC Chapel Hill, you should put their building and dorm room instead of just “UNC”. If you are heading home, you can list home since we have that address already.
Passes need to be endorsed by a guardian (guardians should get an email to their NCSSM email address to endorse the request).
Before leaving campus, students and the individual picking them up must still stop by Bryan Desk - an on-duty CC will verify the ID of the individual picking the student up and officially activate the pass.
For Day/Local passes, please remember to include the name(s) of the student(s) you're traveling with in the ""Notes"" section.
Your Overnight, Missing Curfew, or Travel 30+ Miles passes will be approved once they are endorsed by a legal guardian and reviewed by a CC. If your family hasn’t accepted our Orah invite yet, your pass may say ‘no endorsement required’ but that’s not true! We’ll need to contact them to get verbal confirmation of your travel plans and to talk about getting them connected to Orah. Please help them find and accept the Orah invitation to make the signout process go more smoothly for you, for them, and for us.

HALL AGREEMENT DISCUSSION
If you'd like to take a look at the slides/statements of our Hall Agreement, you can find them here: Hall Agreement Discussion.
PROGRAMMING THIS WEEK:
Hall Agreement TONIGHT
Wednesday August 28th AFTER CHECK: Show and Tell in the Lounge! (This was originally scheduled for 4:30pm, but we thought we'd make it after check instead!) Come to the Lounge with something you're proud of, something from home, something you've completed/turned in thus far this year, or anything else you'd like to share with the Hall!
RESIDENCE HALLS CLOSE AT 5PM ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 30TH!
8/19
Here are the summarized notes from tonight's Hall Meeting.
Speakers at Happy Half
Help us be good neighbors! Speakers are not allowed at happy half. If we are loud every night, then we lose the ability to have occasional events such as block parties. Speaker use at happy half could result in a minor violation.
Bicycle Registration
Don't forget to register your bicycle with Campus Safety. Beginning Sept. 1st unregistered bicycles will be removed from bicycle racks. Please refer to the email from Chris Hopkins for more info.
Adults Making Rounds Through Campus
Please remember that adult staff members (such as CCs, Campus Safety, Maintenance, Housekeeping, & more) will be periodically making rounds through campus including residence halls. These rounds can happen anytime of day. Adults will open a residence hall door, announce their presence (ie "CC on Hall!"), wait a few seconds, and then enter the hall. Rounds are implemented as part of our safety procedures on campus.
Free Copier Use
All NCSSM students have access to use a copier to print, copy, or scan for FREE! The copier for student use is located in the Library computer lab. Please refer to the 8/12 email from ITS for instructions.
Class of 2026 T Shirt
If you did not receive your NCSSM Class of 2026 T-Shirt on Welcome Day, then please stop by the Office of Admissions in Watts 101.
J-Term Scholarship Application Now Open
If you would like to be considered for a January Term Scholarship to offset some portion of the total cost of your January Term experiences, please complete the January Term Scholarship Application Form no later than 11:59pm, Friday, September 13, 2024.
Orah Reminders
Please be sure to sign out at Bryan desk with your driver and their ID whenever you are missing check, leaving overnight, or traveling over 30 miles. This step is required after creating the Orah pass and after guardian approval.
Also please be sure to end your pass when you return to campus!
If it's a Day/Local pass, you can end it yourself in the app (this is the only pass where you can) or at one of the Tiles around campus. (The tiles are grey with the white circular Orah logo)
All other passes must be ended by a staff member, so for us, it's easiest to go to Bryan Desk!
Laundry Services
We are aware that laundry machines are not taking credit or debit cards. To address this, we will need to replace the modems in each laundry room. Until then, please pay for laundry using the CSCPay Mobile app.
Hazing + Traditions
From the Student Handbook:
"Although we want students to enjoy living with their friends and hallmates, pranks of any kind are actively discouraged. Pranks, by nature, are designed to make fun of or to create discomfort for another. Unfortunately, it is difficult to know how the person who is the subject of the prank will respond to the joke. Many times the person responds in such a way that the situation quickly gets out of hand and someone gets injured."
The nature of our school means that traditions come and go just as quickly as classes do! Just because you've heard that something is a tradition, doesn't mean that you have to participate and continue it. There are ways to belong and fit into this community without putting yourself or others in difficult, uncomfortable, or dangerous situations.
We, as a community, want to ensure that everyone feels this campus is a safe space for people to express themselves, be or find who they are, and cultivate a genuine learning environment. Reflect on how you as an individual might be contributing to this kind of environment.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me or another trusted adult on campus if you feel you've seen, heard, or participated in something that could feel difficult, uncomfortable, or dangerous.
Clinic Appointment Reminders
If you aren't feeling well, please make an appointment with the clinic via the resources tab in Blackbaud. If you miss class due to illness, you will need to visit the clinic before class in order for the absence to be excused. If you miss an evening class due to illness, please make an appointment to visit the clinic the following morning and they will determine if the absence may be excused retroactively.
If no appointments are available, please email the clinic at dur.clinic@ncssm.edu for assistance (include your cell phone number for more immediate response).
PFM Reminders
Please remember to clean up after yourselves at the PFM! You are to take your plates, bowls, cutlery, cups, mugs, napkins etc., to the cleaning station and scrape all remaining food into the compost or trash yourself.
If you're moving chairs and tables around, either put them back where you found them or consider not moving them at all, if it's a hassle to do so!
Say hello to the people that work in the PFM! They really do enjoy meeting you, learning your names, and getting to talk to students.
Items from the PFM are not for you to take back to your rooms with you. If PFM items such as utensils, cups, plates, bowls, etc., have ended up on hall, they can be left on the front table under the whiteboard at the front of the hall and I will take them back to the PFM, no questions asked.
HALL AGREEMENT
I'm going to pass out Index cards, and I'd like for each of you to write as many or as few statements that you believe belongs in a Hall Agreement. You do NOT have to put your name on them, in fact, I'd like them to be anonymous! Your RLAs and I will condense them, and we'll discuss them at next week's Hall Meeting!
Please include vague and specific statements, and please take this seriously! They can be a little goofy, but they should be statements, guidelines, or beliefs that you want to hold each other to throughout the year.
Some examples, if you're having trouble thinking of them, might be:
We will always be there for each other.
We will pick up after ourselves in common spaces.
We will respect boundaries.
PROGRAMMING THIS WEEK:
Hall Agreement discussion TONIGHT
Friday 8/23 5:30-7pm - Food Run! Please meet in Blobby and be thinking about where you'd like to go! We have lots of time so we can go to multiple fast food places, and if you want to order something for pick up, please do! There are only 11 seats, however, so first come first serve!
Friday 8/23 8-10:30pm - SAB Movie Night - Divergent in the Lecture Hall - I'm hosting SAB Movie Night this month! Come out to watch lowkey one of the best dystopian movies.
Saturday 8/24 4-6pm - SAB Loops to New Hope Commons - I'm hosting SAB Loops, so if you need something from Walmart, want to get a coffee at Barnes and Noble, or browse in 5 Below, there are 2 loops! One at 4pm and one at 5pm. Again, only 11 seats in each loop.

Please do not knock on my apartment door. The only reason you would ever knock on my apartment door is in a dire emergency, like something is on fire in the lounge. Similar to how I announce when I walk on hall because this is your home and safe space, my apartment is my safe space, and this is why you can text or call me whenever you need to.
I am on duty Tuesday and Thursday nights, 730pm - 130am, with alternating Friday and Saturday/Sunday weekend nights. You can always see where I am via my location board outside of my apartment.

Axel's expectations for the hall
You are expected to come to every Hall Meeting, promptly after Check, every Monday.
I will let you know at least 24 hours in advance is a Hall Meeting is not going to Occur.
I expect you to let me know if and why you are missing a Hall Meeting, if you ever do!
I.e., if you are sick, please text me to let me know you're sick and cannot come to Hall Meeting.
If you ever miss a Hall Meeting, this is the page you should come to and read our Agenda notes!
You are expected to carry out each of the tasks on the Room Inspections sheet on your front door.
The 3 highlighted in yellow are the most important to me.
You are expected to complete your Housekeeping, when you are assigned it.
Housekeeping is Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, with alternating tasks and weeks. It is split so that half the hall is "on" one week, while the other half of the hall is "off," and each week will alternate. You will additionally never have the same task two Housekeeping weeks in a row.
Please check the Housekeeping Sheets the Sunday of your "off" week, so you can see what task you have for the following week. Your RLAs and I will work hard to ensure the names are changed prior to dinner time.
We'll talk more about Housekeeping tomorrow night at our Housekeeping Tutorial, but I did just want to make this point since during move in you may be accumulating a lot of trash and recycling: PERSONAL TRASH AND RECYCLING SHOULD BE BROUGHT DOWN TO THE PEC DUMPSTERS YOURSELF. Personal trash is NOT to be tied up and put in Bathroom or Lounge trash cans, nor is personal recycling to be put in any communal recycling bins.
I expect our Hall to be clean and orderly.
While this includes completing Housekeeping when assigned, I do not want personal items strewn over our hall and lounge. Personal items, when brought outside your room, should return to your room when you leave the area. Similarly, if you are eating anywhere on Hall, you should clean up after yourself, and throw away your own trash.
We are not a hall that thinks "it's not mine, it's not my responsibility." If you see a piece of trash on the floor, throw it away! If you see someone's left a towel in the bathroom for a week, annouce it
I expect you to attend (at least some) programs!
Now, obviously I do not expect you to attend all 12-16 programs myself and your RLAs host every month! But I do expect attendance at some, as not only are these great opportunities for you to get to know each other, but they are great stress-relieving opportunities, off campus opportunities, learning opportunities, and more.
I expect you to be friendly, community driven students!
Second Beall is generally regarded as a very close knit hall. I want to keep that going this year!
Learn each other's names quickly!
Figure out some class simularities, and what subjects students are good at! (For example, two Juniors on hall may have the same Chemistry class and not even know it. Or, a senior might be a Biology wizard, but you wouldn't know unless you asked!~)
Spend time in the Lounge, or keep your door open at night! This allows you to meet others as they are, casually and with no pressure. I myself will be doing the same thing, so that you all can get to know me, too!
Seniors, take the time to get to know the Juniors, and assist them with things they might be unsure about.
Juniors, take the time to get to know the Seniors, and share in your new experience here at NCSSM.
Be respectful of others and their property.
What are some examples of how we can do this?
HALL AGREEMENT
Please be thinking about some expectations/standards/statements you think would work best for a Hall Agreement!
Next Monday, August 19th, we will collect a list of statements that will turn into a Hall Agreement that we can post on hall and hold each other to throughout the year.
A Hall Agreement is a visual way for residents to indicate which values they think are most important when living in a residential community, unique to us. It can also be a working document, one that changes throughout the year as we see fit!
CONVOCATION
Convocation is REQUIRED and it is from 4-5 on Tuesday, in the Auditorium, followed by a picnic dinner (But we plan to go to Lime and Lemon!)
Students are expected to dress appropriately for this event - pants, button down/collared shirt, non-athletic shoes, dresses, skirts, etc.,
VISITOR POLICY
NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS, except for approved “sleepovers,” completed by going to Bryan desk.
A student may have an off-hall guest stay overnight only on Fridays and Saturdays. In order for a student to have an off hall guest stay overnight on a Friday or Saturday, the host and guest should report to a CC desk to make the request.
Beall residents can ONLY ‘sleepover’ in other BBRR halls (Bryan, Beall, Reynolds, Royall)
Visitors can only access building lobbies, or, you can meet them outside on campus.
Visitors MUST BE accompanied by their hosts at all times while on campus, even outside.
Off campus visitors are NOT ALLOWED ON HALL, except legal guardians and family members. Non-family off campus visitors are ONLY allowed on hall if your legal guardian is also with you.
I.e., legal guardians are allowed on hall, as long as they sign in at Bryan, and if they are announced.
I.e., if your friend from home comes to visit you, a legal guardian would also have to be there with y’all.
BBRR students from other buildings may ONLY enter 2nd Beall with a resident of 2nd Beall, and be annouced with "GUEST ON HALL."
If you are bringing a guest on hall, please announce them when you enter, by saying “GUEST ON HALL,” ‘PARENT ON HALL,” “DAD ON HALL,” etc,.

8/12
Night 2! Let's go!
If you didn't read the notes from last night's hall meeting or need a refresher, please click the 8/11 Drop Down above.
Some reminders from last night:
CHECK
Check is at 10pm EXACTLY Sunday through Thursday nights, and 11pm Friday and Saturday nights.
While your RLAs will shout check, in the evenings, you should get in the habit of checking the time to ensure that you do not miss check.
This may mean that after 9pm, you do not have your headphones in, you do not shower, go off hall, go to another building, etc., etc.,
Talk with your roommate! Maybe together, you can both keep yourselves accountable when it comes to Check.
